PRM Expands Advanced Endometriosis Care in Falls Church with Gynecologic Surgeon Dr. Anna Reinert

Board-certified, fellowship-trained endometriosis excision specialist joins PRM to provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for patients with endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, and complex gynecologic conditions.

Falls Church, VA, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PRM (Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine), a premier national healthcare organization specializing in endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain, today announced that Anna Reinert, MD, a board-certified gynecologic surgeon and endometriosis excision specialist, has joined its Falls Church practice. Dr. Reinert’s addition expands PRM’s ability to provide patients with highly specialized, comprehensive care spanning advanced minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis excision, and PRM’s proprietary non-surgical treatment approach, the PRM Protocol™.

For millions of women living with endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain, finding coordinated specialty care can mean navigating multiple providers, delayed diagnoses, and fragmented treatment plans. By bringing Dr. Reinert’s advanced surgical expertise to its Falls Church practice, PRM is strengthening a multidisciplinary model designed to address the complex and often overlapping causes of pelvic pain and provide patients with individualized treatment options throughout their care journey.

“Endometriosis is a complex, whole-patient disease, and patients deserve access to physicians who understand both the condition itself and the many ways chronic pelvic pain can persist and impact quality of life,” said Dr. Allyson Augusta Shrikhande, co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of PRM. “Dr. Reinert brings exceptional surgical expertise and a deep understanding of chronic pelvic pain to our team. Her addition allows us to further integrate advanced excision surgery with the comprehensive, multidisciplinary care that is central to PRM’s approach.”

Dr. Reinert specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS), endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, and other complex pelvic disorders. She is an ABOG-certified surgeon with a Focused Practice Designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and an iCareBetter video-vetted endometriosis excision surgeon, reflecting her expertise in advanced endometriosis excision and minimally invasive surgical care.

Fellowship-trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and chronic pelvic pain, Dr. Reinert is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where she is involved in surgical education, research, and advancing the treatment of endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. She contributes to national leadership in the field through organizations including AAGL and the International Pelvic Pain Society.

Dr. Reinert will see patients at PRM’s Falls Church, Virginia location, providing evaluation and treatment for endometriosis, adenomyosis, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, and other complex gynecologic conditions. Her addition further advances PRM’s mission to redefine the standard of care for pelvic pain by bringing specialized expertise and evidence-based treatment options together within a coordinated care model.

Dr. Reinert is currently accepting new patients. Learn more or request an appointment.
